A taxi driver was arrested in Bangkok on Sunday after allegedly killing an American passenger with a sword, Thai police said.
Police alleged the driver attacked the American with a samurai sword on Saturday night yesterday after an argument over the fare.
CCTV footage showed pictures of two men fighting, one brandishing a bladed weapon.
According to local media, the driver said he had chased after the American after he got out of the vehicle and refused to pay.
The taxi driver has been charged with murder.
