John Mike Obi, the Chelsea midfielder has pulled out of Nigeria’s Super Eagles match against their South-African counterpart, the Bafana Bafana.
consequently, Mikel will not play Wednesday’s game against Bafana Bafana in Durban. The reason of his decision yet to be unknown as at press time.
Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi obliged, saying he does not want to push Mikel too much because of the 7 September World Cup qualifier against Malawi in Calabar.
All the other 19 players are already in Durban for the game, including Mikel’s Chelsea team-mate, Victor Moses.
The match will played on Wednesday night.
