W. Cup Qualifiers: Malawi Coach Savours Eagles Defeat

Ahead of the Malawi- Nigeria Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifying clash, Malawi’s Flames coach Tom Saintfiet says he would relish a situation where his Flames will topple Nigeria’s Super Eagles in clash billed September 7th in UJ Esuene Stadium,Calabar.

Saintfiet hinted that his squad has what it takes to defeat the Super Eagles and progress for the 2014 Brazil World Cup.

The Flames are expected to play against the reigning African Champions on September 7 in Calabar and Saintfiet said he has got all the hopes that the Flames are capable of beating Nigeria on their home soil.

He said his main focus is about the Nigeria clash and as that he only cares about winning against Nigeria, which to him is going to be a beautiful thing for all the soccer lovers in Malawi.

He however said he is not underrating the Super Eagles, being mindful of the fact that Nigeria have in abundance, top players in major leagues across the world, but going by past experiences, he sure that the Flames can pull strings.
