The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali, has called on the three tiers of government to ensure that examination malpractices is reduced to the barest minimum in the country as the bulk of the responsibility fall on them.

The Vice Chancellor made this call while speaking to journalists on the preparations ahead of the UNILORIN 29th convocation ceremony.

He stated that universities should not be blamed for producing half-baked graduates, rather the problems emanate from their 12-year education system, where the students could not meet the standard requirements.

He however urged that facilities in public schools should be upgraded while the quality of teachers being produced should also be improved upon.
