The Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, has again made changes to his cabinet as he sacked the Minister of Sports, Mr Bolaji Abdullahi.
The president on Wednesday ordered that one of the 11 newly sworn in ministers, Dr Tamuno Danagogo, take over from the sacked minister, Abdullahi.
Reports say Mr Abdullahi had vacated office on Wednesday morning before leaving the country to attend the International Weightlifting Federation Championship holding in Poland.
No reason had been given by the Presidency for his sack.
Eleven new ministers recently screened by the senate were sworn in by the president.
He charged them to bring in positive changes in the administration and work closely with others in the service of their fatherland.
