Plateau Youth Group Drums Support For Nigerian Army

The Nigerian Army has been commended for the recent exploits in the fight against terrorism and urged them to liberate all Nigerian territories under the command of Boko Haram insurgents and secure the release of the abducted Chibok girls.

A group of youths in Plateau State during a rally in support of the military in the fight against terrorism noted that the military need the support of Nigerians in fighting the war against terrorists and should be encouraged rather than be castigated.

The youths, under the auspices of United Nigerians Against Terrorism, gathered at the Plateau State House of Assembly to express appreciation on the recent gains of the military in the war against terrorism in the north east region of the country.

The youths also ceased the opportunity to appeal to Nigerians to come together in the war against terror as it affects the whole country especially that the general elections is at hand; as various speakers at the rally commend the efforts of the soldiers in the war.

The Special Task Force Chief of Staff, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Magaji, expressed gratitude for the support by Nigerians in the fight against terrorism with the assurance that the military will not relent in reclaiming the remaining territories under the insurgents.

The Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Titus Ayuba Alams, also commended the efforts of the military.

As the military continue the onslaught against the terrorists in the North East, Nigerians should lend their support in prosecuting this war as the battle is not for the military alone; but a collective effort in fighting terrorism in the country.
