CP Abdul Majid Ali is replacing Valentine Ntomchukwu who is now being posted to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

Addressing men and officers of the Command after the official handover, the new CP harped on professionalism, rule of law and respect for human rights asking them to always maintain a high level of discipline and integrity.

The Commissioner also called for a change of strategy in the fight against criminals and criminal elements across the state.

While assuring residents of adequate security of life and property, he read the riot act to criminals to stay clear of the state or face the consequence of their actions.

The Command, according to the new CP, is more than ever ready to maintain law and order for a habitable society.
