amosunIn order to ease the burden and challenges of owning a house by residents of Ogun State, the state government has launched a scheme tagged “OPIC Home Advantage Purchase System” targeted at people working in Ogun State and residents.

Unveiling the scheme at a press briefing held at the headquarters of the Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC), the General Manager ,Mr Babjide Odusolu, informed intending homeowners they are expected to pay a 30% down payment of the total cost of the building.

While assuring prospective buyers of speedy completion and quality housing, Mr Odusolu reiterated the commitment of the government towards providing affordable housing for residents of the state.

According to him, the scheme is part of the developmental agenda of the state government aimed at encouraging residents to have their own homes devoid of all encumbrances occasioned by land speculators.

According to him the projects are located at Alamal Area of the state capital,Makun in Sagamu, Isheri, and other areas of the state.
