Boxing: Ekundayo Vows To Knock Out Lamptey

Nigeria’s welterweight boxer, Larry Ekundayo, has vowed to knock out Joseph Lamptey of Ghana in the African Boxing Union title bout on Friday Night in London.

Lamptey angered Ekundayo during their weigh-in in London by throwing the Nigerian Flag on the floor.

An action was considered by Ekundayo and many Nigerians as disrespectful to the nation.

Ekundayo is undefeated in all his 10 fights that include three knockouts, while Lamptey has won 18 of his 25 fights, including one draw and 12 knockouts.

The fight will take place 9pm at the Troxy Arena in London.
