LMC Suspends 3 NPFL Referees Indefinitely

The League Management Company (LMC) has suspended three referees indefinitely from handling games of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The suspended referees are Ferdinand Udoh, Peter Efozia and Tejiri Diogori.

They were punished for poor management of match day 35 fixture between FC Taraba and Nasarawa United, played at the Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo, Taraba State.

The match was disrupted in the 81st minute by fans of FC Taraba, thereby bringing the league into disrepute.

They have also been referred to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Referees Committee for further investigation of their management of the match.
