The Nigeria Women Football League, 2015 Super Six Competition kicked off on Monday at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
Shortly after the opening ceremony performed by the Wife of Abia State Governor, Nkechi Ikpeazu, the first match between the Nasarawa Amazons FC and defending champions, Rivers Angels ended 1-0 in favour of Rivers Angels.
The second match for the day between Delta Queens and Bayelsa Queens ended in a 1-1 draw.
