The organisers on Friday, said that the rally was to intensify and celebrate the prevailing peace in the state and the atmosphere of freedom.
The rally came four days after thousands of the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) supporters all dressed in black, stormed the streets of Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital in a procession to honour those they said were killed during the elections.
As the APC and the PDP continue to hold rallies in the state, many said the interest of the people must be topmost priority in the minds of their political leaders.
