FG To Invest In Research For Economic Development

The federal government is set to revamp science and technology as well as invest in research to boost the economy.

This is according to the Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, during his visit to the Raw Materials Research and Development Council of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology in the state secretariat in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

According to him, the present administration would in the coming days explore the potential in science and technology to drive growth in other sectors of the economy, such as agriculture and solid minerals.
