
The report was submitted to him at the council chambers of the government house in Lafia, the state capital.
After receiving the report, Governor Tanko Al-Makura promised to look into the recommendations to conform to the national minimum wage structure.
He believes it is illogical for the state to be paying above the approved national minimum wage while receiving one of the lowest revenue from the federal allocation considering the current economic downturn.
The Governor had previously set up a 23-man committee to review the salary structure of political office holders, public and civil servants in the state.
