The new Grand Officer Commanding, 2 Division, Nigeria Army, Maj. Gen Kasimu Abdulkarim, has called on officers under his command to rededicate themselves with trust and honesty in the discharge of their duties.

Maj. General Abdulkarim made the call at the handing over ceremony where he took over the mantle of leadership at the headquarters of 2 Division Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The new GOC was received amidst fanfare by officers of the division replaced Maj. Gen. Lazarios Ilo, who just retired.

After all necessary instruments of office was handed over to the new boss, he urged the 2 Division to work in tandem to with the Chief of Army Staff’s vision of astute professionalism and required dedication to overcome contemporary challenges.

The handing over ceremony was witnessed by senior military officers under the command.
