Portuguese Club Benfica have confirmed the sale of Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson Moraes to Manchester City.
The 23-year-old, who is yet to make his debut for his country, is joining the English side for 40 million euros (£34.9 million).
The deal makes him the second summer recruit at the Etihad, following the arrival of Bernardo Silva from Monaco.
City are yet to confirm the deal as they are still resolving third party ownership issues which they are optimistic would be solved in the coming days.
Ederson is set to challenge Claudio Bravo for the starting spot in goal, with England stopper Joe Hart who returns from his loan spell in Italy out of favour.
