Cameroon Ready To Host Expanded AFCON In 2019

The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) says it can cope with an expanded 24 teams African Cup of Nations finals.

After sweeping changes to the Nations Cup in Morocco, the central African nation will now have to prepare for eight more teams than expected.

Cameroon FA President, Tombi Sidiki said moving the Nations Cup to June allows the country an extra five months to prepare for the finals.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that its inspection team will visit Cameroon in September.
