Thousands of Nigerians in the Diaspora lit up the Nigerian corner of the popular Notting Hill Carnival which held over the weekend in London.
The Carnival celebrates mostly West India and Africa cultures in the British capital.
“For anyone who grew up in Lagos, partied and ate in Lagos, we are bringing that experience in the U.K. which has the largest Nigeria diaspora in the world,” one of the participants said.
Senator Dino Melaye was also in attendance of the carnival.
Participants and organisers felt Nigeria now have a permanent stake in the carnival, which is popularly called Europe’s second largest street party, .
