President Muhammadu Buhari has travelled to Katsina State for the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
The President arrived in the state on Friday as he joined millions of Nigerians across the country for the Sallah festival beginning from Sunday.
The presidential jet conveying President Buhari touched down at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport at about 5pm.

On his arrival, the President was warmly received by the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, in company with his deputy, Mannir Yakubu, and the security chiefs in the state.
Others at the airport to receive the number one citizen include members of the business and academic communities, religious and traditional leaders, among other dignitaries in the state.
President Buhari, thereafter, proceeded to his home town of Daura in a helicopter at about 5:23 pm.
While in Katsina, the President is expected to inaugurate various projects such as a military hospital and roads.
He is expected to return to Abuja on August 18.
