Sharon Ooja, an actress, and Sabinus, a skit maker, appear to be engaged in a comical yet endearing romantic pursuit in the upcoming romantic comedy Dead Serious, which will be released just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Moses Inwang, the director of the “Blood Vessel” movie, announced the star-studded cast on Monday via a social media post.
The movie is scheduled to hit cinemas nationwide on February 9.
“We are dead serious about bringing you the most hilariously awkward romantic couple this Valentine’s! Prepare to laugh till your sides hurt and shed a few tears as well,” Inwang wrote.
“Brace yourself for the mind-blowing movie, ‘Dead Serious,’ the craziest romantic series comedy of the year.”
‘Dead Serious’ boasts a cast that includes Nkem Owoh, Lawal Nasiru (Nasboi), Albert Oluwatoyin (Tomama/Datwarrigirl), Lilian Afegbai, Funky Mallam, and Deyemi Okanlawon, among others.
In the trailer for ‘Dead Serious, ‘ Ooja plays the role of Sabinus’s love interest.
