Two people have died in a road crash along the Sagamu/ Ijebuode Expressway. Thirteen others were injured in the accident that happened after J3 Junction.
The crash happened around noon on Saturday, the Ogun Chief Routes Commander and Public Education Officer of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) Florence Okpe said.
“The fatal crash occurred at about 12:10hrs on Sagamu-Ijebu-ode Section of the expressway after the J3 junction; 13 people sustained injuries and 2 persons were recorded death from the crash,” her statement read.

Those wounded have been hospitalised and the corpses of the dead victims deposited in the morgue, she said.
Two vehicles – a Toyota Hiace bus belonging to Iyare Motors and a truck – were involved in the accident.
