Operatives from the Lagos State Government on Saturday, October 19, 2024, arrested five individuals for obstructing traffic and creating an environmental nuisance on Raymond Njoku Road in Southwest, Ikoyi, Lagos State.

In a statement, Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, said thpse arrested include the celebrant, event planner, musician, and others.

“The suspects were arrested for blocking the major road during a birthday celebration.

“They will all face prosecution in a court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with the relevant laws of the State.

“The Lagos State Government reiterates that no one is above the law and will not be permitted to disregard State regulations.”
