Kaduna United have commenced the recruitment of new players ahead of the 2017/2018 Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign in March this year.
Chairman of the club, Ben Omale, told journalists in Kaduna that the recruitment is aimed at bringing in young and talented players in an attempt to strengthen the club after facing many challenges over the years.
Omale said the club retained some of the old players from last season, while screening and registration of new players will end by the 15th of this month.
The club’s new technical Director, Dahiru Sadi, on his part, is optimistic that Kaduna United would make a return to the premiership league, hence the need for players for the challenge.
Although Sadi is aware of the difficulty in getting good players, the former Super Eagles player is satisfied with the performance of players that have turned up for screening.
Also known as the “Crocodiles’, Kaduna United was relegated from the Nigerian Premier Football League in the 2015/2016 season.
They will be playing in the 2017/2018 Nigeria National League (NNL) in Group A2 along with FC Taraba, ABS FC, NAF FC, Mighty Jets FC, Kogi United FC and Aklosendi International FC.
