Meanwhile, the top four on the world ranking remain unchanged, with Spain retaining a comfortable lead over Germany, Argentina and Croatia.

Behind the leading pack, however, there has been significant movement in the top ten.

The Netherlands, who didn’t play last month, have benefited from the devaluation of older matches and moved up to fifth at the expense of Portugal who moved a place down to the 6th spot.

Colombia also dropped a place down the ladder to the 7th position, England is now on the 9th spot after falling two places. Ecuador completes the world top ten.
