T.I responded to the recent allegations in an 8-minute IGTV video, which later prompted a heavy backlash from fans on social media.

Last week, an entrepreneur and former acquaintance of the couple, Sabrina Peterson shared stories that that had been collected by over 30 women who claimed they had been victims of rapper TI aka Clifford Joseph Harris Jr, and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris alleged sex ring.

Some of the victims report that they as young as 15 years old at the time.

Following all these accusations, T.I put out a very lengthy response in an attempt to prove his innocence and stress the fact that he is a supporter of all women based causes.

Continuing, T.I. stressed that “Women who have been victimized deserve to be heard,” while claiming that he, “would never treat a woman the way I treat a threat. hat has to be distinguished.”

Tiny also responded saying that Peterson was harassing her family.

In a statement to Complex magazine, the stars of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle” denied all the claims that were made and warned that they may take legal action if Peterson continues to make the claims, which were referred to as “egregiously appalling.”

“Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson,” the statement read. “The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action.”

T.I’s standing with social media users, particularly women, is already not in a good place. In 2019, into last year, T.I. faced major backlash for his invasive and allegedly joking comments about attending his daughter’s gynaecological appointment to “check her hymen is still intact”.

Hollywood star Geoffrey Rush won a record multimillion-dollar payout Thursday after an appeal by a Rupert Murdoch-owned newspaper against a defamation ruling was thrown out by an Australian court.

The Oscar-winner will receive US$2 million for lost earnings and compensation after a court rejected an appeal seeking reduced costs and a retrial of the case.

The decision — against News Corp’s Australian subsidiary Nationwide News — is the latest twist in the ongoing legal battle between Rush and the Daily Telegraph, which accused him of inappropriate sexual behaviour toward female cast members.

In a front-page article published in 2017, the Daily Telegraph wrote that the Sydney Theatre Company received a complaint that Rush had inappropriately touched a female co-star during a staging of “King Lear”.

A Sydney judge had described the content as a “recklessly irresponsible piece of sensationalist journalism”.

Local media said the sum awarded to Rush was the largest ever paid to an individual in Australia, which has notoriously strict defamation laws.

Rush won the Best Actor Academy Award in 1997 for his role in “Shine” and is one of the few stars to have also won a Golden Globe, an Emmy and a Tony Award.

Sexual Misconduct Allegations: Lawmaker Demands Justice

House of Representatives,Following days of media reports on allegations of sexual misconduct brought against three members of the House of Representatives in Nigeria, one of the lawmakers, Mark Gbillah, has called for a detailed public investigation into the matter.

The lawmaker stated that the allegations, made by the Ambassador of the United States to Nigeria, Mr James Entwistle, did not occur.

Mr Entwistle had lodged a formal complaint to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on the issue.

But the lawmaker emphasised that he believed the allegations were meant to tarnish the image of the members involved and the legislative house.

He further demanded a detailed and open investigation into the matter.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu Dogara, who has ordered an investigation into the matter, said that the allegations were not conclusive enough to decide that anyone is guilty.

The allegations of sexual misconduct involving three members of the House of Representatives has continued to generate newspaper headlines.

In her contribution, the Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Nnenna Elendu-Ukeje, appealed to Nigerians for caution on the matter.

As the matter was not up for the debate, the Speaker of the House, rounding up, made it clear that the matter was a serious one.

The House has mandated a joint Committee of ethics and Foreign Affairs to investigate the matter and report back to the House.

Their report is expected to guide the House on the position it will take on the matter.
