President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife joined members of the People Democratic Party (PDP) to participate in the ward congress at his ward in Bayelsa State, where they collected their new PDP membership card.

The president and his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, was received by a jubilant crowd at his ward, ‘ward 13, Otuabula 2 in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State’, where he went to partake in the nationwide ward congresses of the Peoples Democratic Party.

They began their day’s activity by collecting the new People’s Democratic Party membership card and the signing of the register.

Addressing delegates at the ward congress, President Jonathan called on them to elect leaders of proven quality that would serve the people diligently.

He urged the delegates not to allow themselves to be used and influenced by politicians with bad and ulterior motives.

As the race to the elections gets closer, the convictions of the delegates will definitely be put to test. To vote for the right candidate or sell their votes to the highest bidder.
