Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mr Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), has praised President Muhammadu Buhari’s efforts in providing security and promoting attitudinal change.
Mr Agbakoba, who spoke in an interview on Channels Television’s View From The Top, advised that there is a need for the President to carry every ethnic nationality along in governance.
He also commended President Buhari on the Niger Delta issues and Boko Haram insurgency in the north east.
“What more needs to be done is to balance out Nigeria.
” Niger Delta is a symptom of the cause. When the cause seizes to have effects, the effect seizes.
” Niger Delta is the symptomatic process of a failed and disproportionate Nigeria.
“Boko Haram is, nonetheless, an economic problem that is being manipulated politically and now, religion has crept in.
“The problem of Boko Haram and Niger Delta is everywhere. so, the issue is how to resolve it.
“Let the government implement it or at least read the National Conference Report; which is the way to go”, Agbakoba advised.
