President Muhammudu Buhari on Thursday inspected the ceremonial Change of Guards held at the forecourt of Presidential Villa.
Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki , Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and some other dignitaries joined the president in the event.
Prominent Nigerians at the event say that they optimistic that President Buhari is laying a foundation for a new Nigeria.
While some said Nigeria ought to be celebrating owing to the fact that she has remained a united nation in spite of the difficulties, others prayed for continued peace and stability of the country.
