A Professor of Agricultural Economic at the Federal University of Agriculture, Ibe, Bola Okuneye has commended the Federal Government for the stability in the agricultural sector.
Speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s programme, Business Morning, Mr Okuneye said the Food and Agricultural Organisation’s award the Nigerian Government recently received for reducing hunger in the country was because of this stability in policy.
The FAO last month conferred an award of excellence on President Goodluck Jonathan for his administration’s efforts in tackling hunger in the country.
