The venue for the forthcoming 2013 Nations Cup qualifier between Rwanda and Nigeria on February 29 has been changed.

The Rwanda Football Association changed the venue of the match from the earlier announced Amahoro Stadium to the Stade Regional de Kigali.

Confirming the change to journalists, the Acting General Secretary of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Musa Ahmadu said on Monday that the glass house has been officially of the new venue.

“We have been informed that the match will be played at a different stadium because the Amahoro Stadium is under renovation,” Ahmadu stated.

Stade Regional de Kigali with a capacity for 22,000 fans has an artificial pitch and it is the home ground of the Rwanda’s biggest club, APR.
