The Vice President Namadi Sambo has declared that the federal government will ensure that every civil servant in the country owns a house and other welfare necessary for delivery of good services.

This is coming just a day after the approval of a new housing policy by the Federal Executive Council, which plans to construct a million houses, every year.

The Vice-president, who was speaking, while declaring open, a workshop on Repositioning the Nigerian Civil Service for Effective Implementation of The Transformation Agenda of the Present Administration, saluted all Nigerian civil servants for their contribution to the growth and development of the nation as well as their invaluable role in the management of the machinery of government.
