German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund is hoping to keep Robert Lewandowski after the polish striker scored all four goals in their 4-1 win against Real Madrid.

Lewandowski will be out of contract at the end of the 2013-14 seasons as he has also been linked with a move this summer.

Dortmund who just lost German international Mario Gotze to rivals Bayern Munich says it can’t afford to lose another key player of the team in the person of the polish striker if Dortmund’s impressive performance which has lasted three seasons now is to continue.

However the club is optimistic that the 24 year old who became the first player to score a champions league hat-trick against Real Madrid will not leave the club.
