Oyo Central Senatorial Aspirant under the platform of the Accord Party, Bisi Ilaka has accused the Oyo state government of “misplacing its priorities” adding that the “government does not understand its mandate”.
Speaking on Channels Television Saturday breakfast show, Sunrise, Mr. Ilaka explained that there is peace and security in the state because two forces came together to bring stability.
He said most of the projects in the state have not been finished, claiming that “just one bridge that has been constructed instead of seven that was initially reported”.
He said that the situation in Oyo state concerning infrastructure is “contractor driven and not people driven”.
Mr. Ilaka mentioned that one of the biggest challenges in the state is job creation.
