Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed of Kwara State has distance himself from the Voice Of The People (VOP), a yet to be registered political party.
The governor was abstained from being a member of the yet to be registered party by his Senior Special Assistant on Media Muhideen Akorede during an interview with Channels Television.
Mr Akorede hinted that the governor has no hand in the formation of the new party or any other party as he remains a strong member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party.
