In a move to resolve the health workers’ strike which has crippled the health service delivery institutions around the nation, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Mr Emeka Wogu advised officials of the Joint Health Sector Unions and the Ministry of Health to address issues in contention with an open mind in order to quickly resolve the industrial action.

Speaking in Abuja at the resumed meeting between the striking workers and the Ministry of Health, Mister Wogu expressed optimism that the strike action will be called off after the meeting.

It would be recalled that the meeting which was adjourned to today was convened yesterday by the Labour Minister who appealed to the health workers union to end the strike which has paralysed the sector.
