Nigeria and Super Eagles Striker, Brown Ideye has said he will surprise a lot of people who are his critics in a short while, when that opportunity avails itself.

The Super Eagles striker was criticised for his not-so-fantastic performance when he was made the arrowhead of the Super Eagles squad at the Confederations Cup in Brazil earlier in the year.

Ideye couldn’t fulfil his task as a striker, struggling to find his feet at goal, and according to the player he is unperturbed by what anyone of his critics think about him and his playing performance for ‘he is determined more than ever to play and play well for Nigeria his country, Nigeria’.

He hinted that at the right he will shut his critics up as he knows how to answer them, and to him it is simply by ‘improving on his game’.

A chance is all Ideye needs to silence his critics and that chance will avail itself soonest, as the player has been invited by Coach Stephen Keshi for the Malawi-Nigeria World Cup Qualifiers clash next month.

On the crucial game for Nigeria against Malawi in Calabar, Ideye assured that he will put up a better performance, and also ensure that he gives his best for Nigeria to shine with victory.
