The Political scene is taking an interesting turn, as new merger party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)has indicated that it will gladly welcome to its fold, the aggrieved governors of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, should they decide to join the merger party.

The Interim National Public Secretary of the party, Mr Lai Mohammed while addressing journalists after a three-hour meeting in Abuja, the FCT, extended the ‘hand of fellowship’ to the seven PDP governors, if they wish to join the APC.

The ruling party is presently striving to put its household together, after seven PDP governors and some key members of the party decided to form a PDP faction, storming out of the special convention in Abuja with their followers, vowing to seize authority of the party from the Tukur-led PDP, so as to right the wrongs which led to the splintering.

Mr Lai, however denied allegations that the All Progressive Congress is behind the crisis rocking the PDP leadership.
