Tonye Cole, the CEO of Sahara Energy said government should allow and help the youths of the nation to carve their creativity and ingenuity into position for future development, rather than come up with programmes which does not transform the future of the Nigerian youth.

This is defeinitely the kind of encouragement needed for the future players of this nation, as the youth body recognised by the government of the day; National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) is presently plagued by issues that are obviously beyond it.

First, the Youth Minister, Abdulkadir was handed the red card by the Federal Government and a final blow was dealt on the youth body, when election for new excos went awry, with four members of the body laying claims to the top position of the body.

It would be recalled that our host, Ebuka on Rubbin Minds hosted members of the youth body, last week and the interview which lasted well over 30 minutes live on Channels Television yielded little or nothing according to our host.

Rubbin Minds, however, bothered by the trend of events amongst those that are future representatives of the country decided through Twitter posed a question to the youth of the nation to  respond to, on who they think can be appointment as the Youth Minister, to replace the exited Youth Minister and according to the host of Rubbin Minds on today’s edition of the programme, the CEO of Sahara Energy, Tonye Cole, a Niger Deltan and from the response the youth programme got from the social media question posed, he is definitely an individual who has probably established a connection with notable youth in Nigeria, hence his invitation to feature on the programme.

He advised that setting up policies, which will encourage ingenuity from the youth is what the government should be after and not the distribution of a few naira notes amongst them, in the name of empowerment.
