Nigeria’s president, Doctor Goodluck Jonathan has described as depressing the killing of twenty one Nigerian students in the College of Agriculture, Gujba-Yobe state, by the Boko Haram Sect, pledging that his administration will do all in its powers to deal with any group that wants to frustrate development in the country.

Doctor Jonathan,  who was speaking at the Interdenominational Church Service At The Christian Ecumenical Center Abuja to commemorate the country’s 53rd independent anniversary said that Nigeria has almost reached the point where it will join the commity of nations but forces of evil do not want it that way.

He enumerated the success recorded so far in the power sector with the optimism that the power sector will soon be like the telecoms sector in the country and warned those exploiting the diversity of the country to cause problems to be ware.
