Nigeria’s ruling, Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) seems to be on the increase despite the crisis rocking it at the national level as more people are gradually moving from their various parties to the ruling party.

And the recent decampee to the party is Julius Ogboru, the elder brother to Great Ogboru of the Democratic People’s Party (DPP), gubernatorial candidate, Delta state.

Speaking at the event in Eku, Ethiope east local government area of the state which was well attended by members and supporters of PDP, Chief Julius Ogboru said that he has decided to decamp to the ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which is a living party as his former party DPP is dead.

Julius Ogboru promised to mobilize people and work assiduously for the growth and victory of PDP in future elections, particularly in the forthcoming Delta Central Senatorial Bye elections.

The Commissioner for Finance, Kenneth Okpara, the Chairman of PDP, Ethiope east council area, Dr Kings Okpako and leader of PDP in Ethiope east, Bernard Edewor welcomed him and his supporters back to their fold, describing his return as a good omen and a boost to the PDP.
