The newly appointed Chief of Staff to the Ogun State Governor, Prof. Olatunde Ganiyu has been sworn in by the State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

At a ceremony held in his office, Oke-mosan in Abeokuta, the state capital, the Governor charged the new Chief of Staff not to betray the confidence reposed in him by the people of the state, just as he charged him to use his wealth of experience to bear on the business of government for effective service delivery.

In his response, the new appointee re-affirmed his determination to serve the people of the state with passion, dedication and love in order to leave behind legacies for which he would be remembered long after leaving office.

The 57 year old new Chief of Staff to Governor Amosun is a Professor of Entomology who was at various times the Acting Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Osun State University, Osogbo.

He hails from Ikenne Local Government Area of the State and is replacing the former occupant of the seat, Mr Ademola Ogunaike who resigned his appointment last year.
