Military operatives of the 3 Division Special Operations Battalion, Damaturu, in Yobe State have again reviewed curfew time across the state.

A statement made available to Newsmen in Damaturu, the state capital, by the military spokesman, Captain Eli Lazarus indicates that restriction of movement is now from the hours of 10:00PM to 6:00AM daily across the state.

Before the statement made on Monday, Damaturu residents were restricted from the hours of 6:00PM to 6:00AM daily, sequel to attack on Damaturu the state capital by suspected members of the Boko Haram sect.

It is the second time that the curfew would be reviewed in the month of November, after the military authorities on November 1 reviewed the curfew from the initial hours of 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily to 6:00PM to 6:00 AM daily.

The military originally started with a 24 hour curfew immediately after the October 24 attack.

The latest Army statement also called on residents in all 17 Local Government areas of the state to accord security agents the needed support geared towards the restoration of peace in the state.
