The Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Adebiyi Adesida who passed on in the early hours of Sunday.
The Governor, his wife, Olukemi Mimiko and few top government functionaries were received by the late King’s wife and family members.
Mrs Mimiko shared in the pains of the Monarch’s wife Mojisola Adesida with a warm hug.
In his condolence speech, Governor Mimiko said the reign of the late Monarch was brief was phenomenal.
On behalf of the Adesida Royal Family, the head of the family, Prince Adejare Adesida, appreciated the Governor’s love and sympathy for the family in their grief.
The deceased Monarch, who was enthroned as the traditional ruler of Akure, the Deji in September 2010, died at the age of 63.
