2015As Nigerians go to the polls in 2015, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State says the year would usher in a new direction for good governance and renew hope for Nigeria among the comity of nations.

Governor Ahmed said this in Ilorin while speaking with newsmen shortly after a prayer held to mark his 51st birthday.

He said that with a sense of focus and steadfast prayers, Nigeria would overcome its challenges in 2015.

He called on Nigerians to elect credible candidates that would bring the needed development into the country.

The duo of General Muhammadu Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo, whom he described as men of impeccable characters, he said, would provide the kind of Nigeria the citizens were yearning for.

According to him, Nigerians are concerned with the security and economic situations and that should help in shaping their decisions on those that would lead the country from 2015.

Governor Ahmed also expressed confidence that General Buhari would ensure improved security, improved economy and infrastructural development if elected in 2015.
