The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has enjoined Nigerians, irrespective of the religion, ethnic and political difference, to unite and save Nigeria from the present political challenges facing the nation.
While addressing Christian faithful at the Imo State Government House chapel in Owerri, the Imo State capital, the Governor said that many developed nations of the world have gone through these same challenges in the past but came out stronger.
The Governor mentioned that he remains optimistic that if Nigerians can unite, irrespective of their differences, the country would become stronger and prosperous.
Governor Okorocha also advised politicians to de-emphasize on the politics of religion because it will not take Nigeria’s democracy anywhere.
