SuswanGovernor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State, has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to immediately transfer the State Residence Electoral Commissioner over alleged collusion with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Mr Suswam, in a protest letter to INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega, accused the REC, Prof. Istifanus Dafuang, of complicity in his defeat occasioned by election irregularities in two council areas of Logo and Ukum within his senatorial district, where the APC allegedly burnt down INEC office and snatched results to upturn his victory against Senator Barnabas Gemade.

Mr Suswam, while also congratulating General Muhammadu Buhari for emerging victorious in the presidential election, says the PDP in Benue State would not accept any election conducted by the state REC, should INEC refuse to remove him before the governorship election of April 11, 2015.
