House Of Assembly Election Generally Peaceful – Governor Mimiko

Ondo State Governor has described the House of Assembly election in the state as generally peaceful.

Dr Olusegun Mimiko, in a session with the press after casting his vote at unit 20 ward 7, Yaba Road in Ondo his home town, said that the situation was different at Ondo East Local Government Area of the state, where a candidate unleashed mayhem.

The Governor lamented the situation in which there were sporadic gunshots through the night.

He said normalcy had since returned while the suspected perpetrators are now on the run.

Governor Mimiko commended the peaceful conduct of the electorates in the state.
