Plateau State has been thrown into mourning after some villagers were killed in Barikinladi Local Government Area as report reaching us says the battle between herdsmen and the villagers is still raging.

According to the villagers, Fulani herdsmen attacked Barikinladi, burned over a hundred houses, and left about 22 people dead.

However official reports put the death toll at seven.

The victims are now being buried and the community continues to live in fears as this is not the first time the Fulani would be attacking in similar manner.
