The former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Goodswill Akpabio, on Friday visited the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for questioning over alleged graft.
Senator Akapbio, who is also the Senate’s Minority Leader, was accompanied to the EFFC’s office by his lawyers and a few aides.
He is charged for allegedly misappropriating 108.1 billion Naira while serving as Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
