
The Governor of the state, Governor Rauf Aregbesola, gave the assurance on Wednesday at the commissioning of another middle school on Ibokun Local Government Area of the state.
He said a conducive environment for teaching and learning would help to improve the academic exploits of the students.
The Governor stated that the commissioning of the school had confirmed the present administration’s commitment in education.
He further disclosed that not less than 20 elementary, 22 middle and 17 high schools had either been commissioned or at the final stage of commissioning in the state.
While sounding a note of warning to students to be in their best behaviour, he urged all stakeholders to ensure that the edifice was properly taken care of.
The Deputy Governor, who doubles as the Commissioner for Education, Titilayo Tomori-Laoye, also affirmed the administration’s resolve to ensure that emphasis was placed on revamping the educational sector.
